Beneficial Holdings to Apply for Gaming License in Nevada

By Maria McCoyGoogle

In an effort to move its operations to the United States, Beneficial Holdings, announced its intention to apply for a Nevada Intrastate Gaming License, which will allow it to provide top online casino games to the residents of Nevada. The company will have to partner with a licensed casino operator and then they will be able to offer guests of non-gaming hotels access to the online casino in hotel rooms in the state.

Beneficial Holdings, Inc. is an international casino holding company, with a specialty in the acquisition of undervalued gaming assets. They currently operate a bar and casino in Managua, a slot parlor in Masaya, Nicaragua, and a joint venture in Ticuantepe, Nicaragua. They manage and online live dealer casinos for non-U.S. residents.

The company is currently in talks with several consultants who work with Nevada licensed casinos to finalize a joint venture agreement. In the meantime, they are working on a system that will offer poker and live dealer games, ultimately expanding to other online casino games. Once they receive the licensure, they will be able to acquire facilities within the state in which to house their technology.

Beneficial Holdings has expressed interest in expanding their client base to other states as licensing of online casino games moves forward across the country. They have also stated that they will be focusing on domestic opportunities this year based on the recent ruling by the US Department of Justice that the Wire Act of 1961 is only applicable to sports gaming.
