EU Casino Launched Massive Campaign in Denmark

By Debra SaundersGoogle

New online casino game regulations in Denmark mean that the market is now open for serious business. EU Casino, a top rated online casino, has launched a massive campaign in the country in an attempt to get new customers. They have announced this week that they will begin a three-month advertising campaign on TV and radio as well as in print.

The company plans to spend an estimated 500,000 Euros in the hopes that they will attract new players. EU Casino runs on the well-known software provider SkillOnNet. Through the software, they plan to unveil a variety of exclusive 3D games, live dealers and unique player experiences. Their goal is to also increase the profile of online casino games in the country.

EU Casino has strategically decided to target the Danish male population, the most influential group in the casino games online industry, and therefore will be running most of the campaign on Danish channel TV3. They will also place advertising on the leading radio station in the country, NRG.

Denmark only recently opened its online casino games market, beginning on January 1, 2012. The Danish Gambling Authority issued thirty-eight operators a total of fifty-five licenses giving them the authority to operate in the country. The companies to receive licenses included nine Danish operators as well as a few international no deposit online casinos like 888, PokerStars, Betfair, Betsson, Cryptologic and UniBet.

Other countries within the European Union are taking a cue from Denmark, Spain and Italy and are exploring online casino games regulation and legislation.
