This past week, Playtech, the well-regarded developer of online casino games software, announced that the brand will be publically traded in the London Stock Exchange's main market at the beginning of July.

The company is in the process of applying for its ordinary shares to be listed on the premium segment of the UK Listing Authority's Official List. After that is complete, they would like to gain approval to trade on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities. In order to do so, Playtech will have to receive the go ahead from the UKLA and LSE.

A spokesperson for Playtech stated the company is confident that joining the London Stock Exchange’s official list is the best way for it to broaden its reach and cement its standing in the industry. The move would assist in the liquidity of the company's shares and also be a way for the company to gain future investors.

Playtech software is a top choice for some of the best online casinos in the industry. Online casinos like William Hill, bet365, Winner, Swiss Casino, and Europe Casino all run on the platform. On the same level as Microgaming, Playtech is the largest online casino games software provider. The brand continues to develop its game selection and broaden its scope. Some of Playtech’s signature services include a live platform for live casinos as well as an online bingo network, the largest in the industry.
