New Virgin Mobile Platform Launched

Billionaire Richard Branson’s online gaming company Virgin Games has released, together with a mobile marketing agency named Somo, the new Virgin mobile gaming platform.  The companies released a joint statement saying that the productive joint venture has produced a unique mobile online casino platform that lifts Virgin Games above the competition.

The goal of the joint venture was to create a mobile platform that could host all the popular titles that Virgin customers already enjoy at home while using Virgin’s top rated online casino.  So far they have succeeded in “mobilizing” games from ten popular online game developers such as Microgaming, IGT, and Cryptologic.  The mobile platform also facilitates complete account management functionality like a regular computer.  It is important for current Virgin Games customers to know that the new mobile platform does not require the creation of a new account.  Anyone who already has a Virgin account can use Virgin Bingo, Poker, Casino, or Mobile freely.  New customers, likewise, only need to create one account.

All the Microgaming titles available on Virgin’s new mobile platform use a special technology called QuickFire.  Thanks to QuickFire, players can enjoy fun casino games like Tomb Rader, Thunderstruck, and many more.

Simon Burridge, the Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Games explained that Virgin’s investments in mobile gaming are a natural, necessary, and expected response to the penetration of smartphones to the cellular market.  As more and more people use smartphones, they expect more from their smartphones, and Virgin is ready and willing to provide.
