Virgin Mobile Platform on Microgaming QuickFire

Virgin Games has announced that they will be releasing a new Virgin Mobile gaming platform powered by Microgaming’s QuickFire mobile platform.  The CEO, Simon Burridge, said that Virgin Games sees the release as a response to a demand voiced by their customers for a mobile online casino.  They want the full array of functionality currently available to them on their personal computers to also be available to them on their mobile phones.  Smartphone penetration has been increasing exponentially, and with it mobile gaming has seen rapid growth as well.

QuickFire is mobile backend software that enables most of Microgaming’s games to run on smartphones.  Many of Microgaming’s most popular titles like Dragon’s Fortune, Best Video Poker, Bingo Bonanza, Major Millions, Mega Moolah, and their table games are available on the QuickFire platform.  The platform runs on the most popular devices: Android, iPhone, and iPad.

Any player who currently has an account with Virgin Games won’t have to make a new account for Virgin Mobile.  Nonetheless, to promote the new platform, players will receive a free no deposit bonus their first time using the mobile platform.  New players will also receive a bonus when they sign up for Virgin Mobile gaming.  One Virgin official said that in addition to building the best mobile platform, Virgin offers the best casinos bonuses.  With the new mobile platform, all the transactions one was able to do on the computer will now be available on the phone.

Roger Raatgever of Microgaming stated that he is very satisfied with the partnership between his company and Virgin Gaming and hopes that their past success will continue into the future.  Virgin’s Burridge said that though Microgaming provides an undeniably quality product, Virgin is still interested in expanding to include other developers’ games.
