William Hill and FA Sign Sponsorship Deal

William Hill, the popular sports betting and online casino company, has entered into a 2½ year sponsorship contract with the Football Association.  This will be the FA’s first major sponsorship contract with this type of bookie website.  William Hill gains the rights to use all FA and FA Cup branding, logos, and symbols in their advertising and on their website. 

Peter Daire, the man in charge of the FA’s sponsorships, explained that the FA is more than happy to enter into such a deal with William Hill.  He explained that William Hill has a long history of successful partnership contracts with other organizations as well as excellent advertising presence in various forms of media that will increase the serve the FA’s interests regarding communication and dissemination.  William Hill benefits from the use of some of the best sports brands in the world.  William Hill’s CEO Ralph Topping explained that his company always looks for symbiotic partnerships that bring added value to the customer.  A similar agreement was struck between William Hill and the Scottish Football Association.  To conclude, Topping said that he and his firm are excited about the coming 2½ years.

William Hill’s Chief of Marketing Kristof Fahy explained that, from a marketing perspective, the main incentive for William Hill is the development of brand prominence provided by the sponsorship with the FA.  Fahy added as well that there is an additional benefit of indirect promotion that will come to William Hill’s other ventures like their top online casinos.  Online casino reviews expect the partnership to draw new customers to William Hill’s online casino games websites.
